The Chairman's Trophy:

A new annual event where Club Committee members, past and present, take on other club members in a battle for this prestigious trophy.
Fast and Furious? No.
Fun and good natured? Certainly!
Registration at 9:30 am, with presentation and pics at around 13:30.
Summary and Results:
A great day was had by all at our first (to be annual) Chairman’s Trophy Competition, where WSM Petanque Club committee members (past and present) battled it out with a team made up of general club members on Saturday, June 20th 2026.
The competition comprised of a set of triples, then doubles, and finally singles.
It was a triumphant day for the challengers, beating the committee members 7.5 points to 5.5 points. Well done to all players!

The grand, shiny new trophy, supplied by Tiger Trophies, was presented to the proud winners by the Chairman.
The Committee Team have vowed to get the trophy back next year, so watch this space!
